Monkey Brains

The following is an interview with a brain researcher Ricardo Gil da Costa as the Salk Institute discussing language and brains.

I find the bit at 11:00 minutes into the video to be an interesting discussion of animal rights and terrorism.

The real discussion of language and brains begins 14:00 minutes into the video.

At 22:00 minutes they talk about fMRI images and what can be done today. Specifically, you currently can't use an fMRI as a lie detector.

At 55:00 minutes into the video they talk about the Terry Schaivo case.
