Why Republicans Hate Big Government

Simple... big government tells you what you can do, when you can do it, where you can do it, how long you can do it, and with whom you can do it. Big government hates freedom.

That's why Wisconsin's Republican governor wants government to tell you who you can in the room with you when you are dying. From the Milwaukee Wisconsin Journal Sentinel:

Gov. Scott Walker believes a new law that gives gay couples hospital visitation rights violates the state constitution and has asked a judge to allow the state to stop defending it.

Democrats who controlled the Legislature in 2009 changed the law so that same-sex couples could sign up for domestic partnership registries with county clerks to secure some - but not all - of the rights afforded married couples.

Thank God Walker believes in the need to tax people because under the same logic as the above that means he won't raise your taxes.

It is good that Walker believes in beating his wife and torturing his kids, because under the above logic that means he want hurt his wife or kids.

Thank goodness Walker doesn't believe Americans have the right to own homes or case, because under the above logic that means he won't send out state troopers to seize you house and cars.

But the day Walker talks about "freedom", run for the hills, because under the above logic that will mean he intends to open up state wide detention camps and imprison the whole population!
