People have such interesting abilities. And those who are autistic savants are the most amazing of them all. Amidst general inadequacies they have one towering skill that is so much greater than any normal human that they seem unreal. Here's Stephen Wiltshire, an architectural artist who has been diagnosed with autism:
One of my favourite savants is Daniel Tammet. He has a number of unusual savant talents (reciting very long memorized numbers, speed learning of languages, and author) as well as a synesthesia which assists his memory. I find his books very interesting because he is self aware and able to make interesting observations on his abilities and life experiences.
I have no special knowledge of Stephen Wiltshire beyond the above video.
