An Optimistic View of the Future

Here is a thought worth taking the time to ponder: the future will be better and we will have given place to a better version of ourselves...



This sounds right to me. We no longer are the hunter gathers with the high death rates from inter-tribe feuding. Hopefully we are beyond the 19th & 20th century nation state "global" wars. We are civilizing ourselves despite ourselves. Self selection in an urban environment is changing us.

The above is the narration of cosmologist Carl Sagan on us as an "adaptable species". An interesting thought...
