The Moral Order

Here is a wonderful lecture by Jonathan Haidt, a psychology professor at the University of Virginia. He specializes in understanding the basis of morality. I think you will find this talk wonderfully insightful...

I'm a middle-of-the-road guy, so I really like the message of step outside for a second and listen to everyone because they all think they are right. I do think everybody has something to contribute. And I do think the true never lies at the extremes but is closer to the middle. But I also think that you have to fight for the truth. Too many people wimp out and let the bullies run things for their own profit. At times, people really do have to stand up and say "enough!" and take charge of their destiny.
