Alan S. Miller & Satoshi Kanazawa's "Why Beautiful People have more Daughters"
I ran into Kanazawa's writings on his Psychology Today blog. He writes short pieces on issues in evolutionary psychology. This book is a collection of such essays. They are enjoyable, but I didn't come away with any "aha!" experience or a sense of deep understanding. The book is thoroughly enjoyable, but isn't going to leave a lasting impression with me.
I find the essays enjoyable and the insights fun. It is worth a read, but don't expect an "education" from this material.
