Big Lie Technique

Here's Keith Olbermann tearing into Sarah Palin for his unbridled use of the big lie technique...



This is a wonderful indictment of the crazed Right.

Sadly this is an effort to stop a new descent into the rabid politics of the McCarthy era. Olbermann walks through the list of suspects. He nails their scuzzy hides to the door.

Will this stop the craziness? Probably not. The nut cases on the Right aren't interested in logic or truth. Nobody cares that Olbermann outs the operatives of the right: Heather Blish, Rick Scott, and The Liberty Council.

I especially enjoy Olbermann's invocation of Lincoln's 1st Inaugural Address. There was a man trying to rise above the insanity of rabid craziness. It didn't work. The result was four years of vicious civil war and a hundred years of residual bitterness and racism. I hope not, but it appears to me that the rabid Right have revived this spirit of enmity and partisanship and will let loose the hounds of war on the land again.
