The reinstatement of the £90 lingerie-and-blouse allowance at London law firm Clifford Chance:Wow! I find that pretty convincing that the economic crunch is over for the high and mighty. Now, for the rest of us, I think the economic forecast is for more heavy weather, dreary times, and another year of slugging it out. No fancy new knickers for me!Inevitably dubbed the "90 nicker knicker allowance", this may or may not be the most reliable indicator yet that the credit crunch is over. (Business is apparently so hectic that the firm has also installed sleeping pods.)
