Sapolsky on the Uniqueness of Humans

Here is a very bright, very good academic from Stanford, Robert Sapolsky, giving a 'class day' lecture (skip the first 5 minutes of introduction):

This is an excellent lecture on how humans aren't really unique. Genetically we are very similar to other animals. Butwe are sufficiently different in our behaviours to make us 'unique'.

I love the moral that comes at the very end of this lecture. It is simply beautiful.

I want to thank you for posting this. I watched the whole lecture and found it very interesting.. The last part was the best. Our anticipation goes up if we don't receive reward... Christmas came to mind and then many other things. The right wing republicans must be very high on dopamine right now; well, they must be out of their minds! (ha!). Their are so many angles with that, that I can't even begin to write what I think; so many shiny things....
