Here's an interesting interview with a retired police chief of Seattle who points out that the "drug war" is an insane policy that has run for 36 years and cost $1 TRILLION and utterly failed since drugs are available everywhere, at lower cost, and better quality than when the "War on Drugs" was announced by Nixon in 1971.
