Here is an interesting talk given by Peter Mcallister, an Australian anthropologist brings his research to a new book Manthropology: The Science of Why the Modern Male Is Not the Man He Used to Be and records the sad fact that modern males are inadequate. The tone is humourous at times, but factual. So it is well worth watching this video:
