Here's a bit by Richard Feynman on people who won't accept that nature doesn't fit our preconceived notions:
Funny, I'm one of those guys back in the 1960s that loved David Bohm's theory because it seemed the best way to avoid the most unpleasant aspects of quantum theory. I now admit defeat. I was projecting my desires onto the world. The world is indifferent to us. It will be what it will be. And there is no guarantee that we can understand it as we push further and further away from the common sense scale of things.
Here's more fun stuff from Feynman. These come from a series of 1983 BBC interviews of Richard Feynman done by Christopher J. Sykes. In these interviews Feynman talks about various topics of physics and explains how they are related to everyday life and how it is fun to find out that how physics influences our life.
The above are 3 out of the 12 interviews. You can see more from this BBC series on YouTube.
Christopher J. Sykes' production company is here.
