I chalk this up to Bush and his "bright idea" of fighting a war using "contractors" and the Bush ideology that private companies are above the law. The poisonous 2001-2008 years will long be remembered as one of the darkest periods in American history.

The KBR claims are reminiscent of the pre-1865 "laws" that allowed some people to "own" other people. It is incredible that Al Franken has to table legislation to change this kind of insanity. But the idiocy of the Right led to this outrageous behaviour by KBR.
