Maytag Repairman?

Here's a professor of religion, Hector Avalos, telling the world that his academic specialty is going out of business. Specifically, the field of "biblical archaeology" is fast discovering that it isn't a science because the Bible is no guide to the past. It is literature, not history. He points out that the experts in the field freely admit this among themselves but paint a different picture when they talk to the public because they don't want to "upset" religious people...

Part 2

He jokes that when his professon finally shuts down he plans to become a "Maytag repairman".
