Sitting north of the 49th parallel it is fun to watch the US election gearing up. This is going to be an exciting presidential race. On the one hand you have a senile geezer who has trouble keeping track on which side of what issue he is on which day of the week. On the other hand you have a young attractive "person of colour" who is a crypto-commie-Muslim that keeps claiming to be a Christian just because he's attended church for the last 40 years (sure... that just proves how deep your cover is!).
This contest is sure to incite fury and hatred in large segments of the population because it appeals so viscerally to their prejudices. Yes, this promises to be a real bare knuckle down-and-dirty campaign.
Need proof? Here's a video that clearly demonstrates that both candidates are not just racing to reposition themselves in the middle to grab votes, they are off doing whatever it takes to win over the "no values" voters, a previously ignored segment of the American voting public:
