Robert Shiller, Brad DeLong, Teresa Ghilarducci, and Jeff Madrick hold a panel discussion at the New School for Social Research in NY on February 18, 2009. The title of the discussion is "Animal Spirits: How Human Psychology Drives the Economy, and Why it Matters for Global Capitalism". The focus of the talk is Shiller's new book Animal Spirits, but the wide ranging discussion covers the current crisis and what might be done to prevent similar problems in the future.
